Premium service getting fresh new look

Mobile me has always been offered as a premium service on Apples mobile devices to back up mail, contacts, calendars, and photos among other things to the web as well as improved sync capabilities on the device. , this service has been offered on a yearly subscription of 99$. With such a steep price for the premium service, apple did not find many customers willing to opt in. What apple has decided to do instead is transition MobileMe into a new service which apple is calling Icloud.

Whats more is that your photos, apps, books, and purchased songs do not go against your 5gb cap. What is a main benefit of using this storage service is that it is accessible over all of your apple mobile devices, as well as on your PC or Mac. This service is also getting deep integration into many of Apples native apps, such as iTunes, calendar, photos, as well as many others, which makes all of the content of your Iphone easily accessible across all your device.
